Recently a group of students from Normandy Middle School in North St. Louis County was able to visit the Radiology department and Goldfarb School of Nursing on a field trip focused on careers in medicine.
This trip was part of ongoing outreach efforts led by Cardiovascular Division Professor of Medicine Dr. Linda Peterson, who has been working with local school districts to educate students about heart health as well as opportunities for careers in medicine for several years. Dr. Peterson worked with fellow Cardiovascular faculty member and Professor of Medicine Dr. Angela Brown to work on this event.
