MD, PhD, and MD/PhD postdoctoral trainees who are working in laboratories of training faculty affiliated with the Principles of Cardiovascular Research Training Program (T32 HL007081, Program Director: Abhinav Diwan) are eligible to participate in the Program. Nominations should be submitted by the training mentor to the Program Director and will be considered by the program steering committee. Trainees who are carrying out cardiovascular disease research in laboratories of mentors not already affiliated with the programs, the mentor should directly contact Dr. Diwan (adiwan@wustl.edu).

- Candidate’s complete CV
- Letters of recommendation
- Predoctoral candidates: include one letter from prior research supervisor or from a Washington University faculty other than the mentor who is familiar with the student’s performance in DBBS
- Postdoctoral candidates: include 2 faculty letters in addition to the mentor’s letter of nomination. For those candidates with PhD degree, one of these letters must be from PhD advisor.
