Clinical Interests
Cardiology, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant, CHF, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support (LVADs), pulmonary hypertension, cardiomyopathy, myocardial infarction.
Research Interests
Research focuses on utilizing computational approaches to understand and design better treatment strategies for the pharmacological management of heart failure, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and inherited arrhythmia syndromes. Using computational tools and clinical datasets, Dr. Moreno is also interested in drug-repositioning — using old drugs for new targets in novel ways.
