Division Chief Dr. Sumanth Prabhu was honored as the 2022 George E. Brown Memorial Lecturer. Dr. Prabhu’s lecture was entitled “Alterations of the Immune System in Heart Failure”. The George E. Brown Memorial Lecture is presented by an honoree each year, selected by the Council on Basic Cardiovascular Sciences leadership in the AHA. Dr. Prabhu is recognized as a leader in the research of inflammation and the immune system in heart failure.
