Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the WashU Center for Advancing Health Services, Policy & Economics Research Karen Joynt Maddox, MD, MPH has accepted two new roles with the American Heart Association as of July 1st.
Joynt Maddox is now the Vice Chair of the Council on Quality of Care and Outcomes Research (QCOR) as well as Chair of the Quality Oversight Committee (QOC). The QOC is the national committee that oversees Get With the Guidelines, the Rural Health Care Outcomes Accelerator, and a number of other programs.
