Clinical Rotations
During the first 24 months of training, fellows spend time on all of the key cardiology services, both clinical (e.g., Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), consult service) and lab based (e.g., echo, cardiac catheterization). In addition to providing thorough exposure to a broad cardiology experience, these years are designed to meet the requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and Core Cardiology Training Symposium (COCATS). The third and fourth years of training are customized based on the individual interests of the fellow.
