Nuclear Cardiology

The Nuclear Cardiology Unit is a joint effort of the Cardiology Division and nuclear medicine staffed by nationally and internationally recognized experts in the field. Employing the latest technologies, the service is supported by the full resources of the Medical Center and is highly integrated into the larger, non-invasive imaging initiative.

Clinical expertise

  • Rest/stress SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging, with either exercise or pharmacologically induced stress
  • Myocardial viability detection using either PET or SPECT
  • Radionuclide ventriculography
  • Rest/stress PET perfusion
