Clinical Interests

I specialize in General Cardiology including preventive cardiology, valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arrhythmias and coronary artery disease.

Research Interests

My research interests are derived from unanswered clinical questions that arise during patient care. I generally seek to answer these questions without collecting primary data. Rather, I use the rich assortment of currently available public and private data sets to answer questions. The statistical methodology I employ involves multivariable logistic regression analysis, Cox proportional hazards analysis, Kaplan-Meier (survival) analysis and meta-analysis.
