  School</p><p> </p><p>The Edward Massie Distinguished Lectureship was estab
 lished in 1984 to honor Edward Massie\, MD\,  a graduate of Washington Univ
 ersity and Washington University Medical School and  a member of the facult
 y from 1938 to 1978. Dr. Massie was the Director of the Heart Station at Ba
 rnes Hospital from 1941 to 1970. A national leader in electrocardiography\,
  Dr. Massie pioneered the development of computer-assisted analyses of elec
 trocardiograms and he was one of the founders of the Scientific Councils of
  the American Heart Association.</p><p>Past Massie Lecturers are:  Eduardo
